ASB Classic – Auckland New Zealand
The ASB Classic is one of Auckland’s marquee summer sporting events, drawing top international tennis players and a festive crowd to the ASB Tennis Arena each January. Set against warm days and long evenings, the tournament blends high-calibre competition with a relaxed, social atmosphere—think courtside entertainment, food stalls, and live music between matches. Over the years the event has featured global stars preparing for the Australian Open, helping cement Auckland’s place on the international tennis calendar. For visitors, the ASB Classic pairs perfectly with the city’s summer rhythm, offering world-class sport just minutes from beaches, bars, and harborside dining.
